Thursday Fun: Fox Reality show on MMA in the works? Here's some ideas.

According to MMANews.com, there is a rumor flying around about FOX meeting with fighters to produce a reality show that will be some sort of tournament format in which the fighters who win will take on a foreign team. Let me just say how ridiculous it is that FOX, of all stations, is potentially producing this.

Here's a laundry list of crap that could end up in the show:

  • Fighters answer tough 1st through 5th grade level questions before each round, receive free punch to the face if they answer incorrectly.
  • Three judges who are eerily similar to the panel of American Idol will judge each fight, highway robbery occurs. Cecil Peoples tries out for the part of Randy Jackson.
  • Instead of trading spouses, Fox decides that the fighters should trade training camps. The show becomes a vindictive game of which camp can completely render the fighter they are training worthless in order for their own camp fighter to win.
  • It wouldn't be FOX if we didn't think of this: Fox puts all the fighters in a house with nothing but anabolic steroids sitting around, pandemonium ensues as each fighter is a complete roid rage psychopath and we get Marlon Sims vs. Noah Thomas in the house every week. The only difference? These guys look like the Incredible Hulk. Sean Sherk could show them how.
  • FOX pits a bunch of racists against minorities, you know they'd do it too. Melvin Costa makes an appearance against "Krazy Horse" Bennett.

Give me your ideas on what Fox has in store for us.
